Decision making can be hard. Not only when making an important decision, but also when making a simple choice that has virtually no impact on your life. PitChoose, new app from Slovakia, is set to make everyday decisions much easier.
Let others help you make a choice
It lets you upload pictures displaying your alternatives for other people to vote for. When you are facing a tough decision, other people can help.
All you need is a Facebook account to log in, type in your question and upload pictures the alternatives you are choosing from. Other users of the app can then vote for their preferred choice and even leave a comment if they want.
The app is very simple and easy to use. After logging in, you can directly see a feed of choices other people are thinking about. You can help them or insert your own question by clicking an icon in bottom-right corner.
Possible uses for marketers
If you think PitChoose can be used only to make basic decisions, you might be wrong. This simple app can be used for making business-related choices.
Think about this…
Can’t figure out which color to choose for a new website button? Can’t seem to make a decision regarding product design? Can’t tell which ad would be more appealing for your audience?
Sure, you can use advanced testing techniques, but you can also use this free and simple app to get opinions from real people that might also be a part of your target audience.
PitChoose still needs some time to work as intended
The app is not perfect. Let’s face it… Almost no new app is. PitChoose still need some time things that are not perfect about it, mostly UI issues that can easily be fixed. Also, the app does not notify you when people click your post or comment on it, so the only choice is to check it for new opinions regularly.
What also needs some time is the user base. The app is really fresh. That’s why you can only get a small amount of “votes” on your posts. Also, if you are not from Slovakia, you will have trouble understanding the choices people are making. Most of the posts are currently written in Slovak. But that will hopefully change over time and the app will become international.
